Update #2 Sahla and Beast Village Story

Beast Tamers Village story portions have been finished. Sahla (The foul mouth/ flirty/ Beast Taming/ Stripper) is now officially recruit-able. With her in the party you now have the ability to understand what chicken is actually saying during cutscenes. Sahla is an optional character however so if you do not want to have her with you, and you choose to start the series of events that leads to getting her, you can still play out the remainder of the game just fine. You will miss out on the chickens side story as well as a lot of extra storyline as from here on in the game it will check to see if she is in the party or not. If not then certain story lines will not play out the same and you may never fully understand what chicken is saying.

Aside from that you will be at a disadvantage throughout the rest of the game as you are a party member down. The game will be possible to beat of course but you will have to be more careful during encounters. I would consider adding Sahla to your party as a sort of difficulty setting. If you take her you will have a 4th member, you will have access to beast skills and an extra target for the enemies. If not you will have to use the current roster and find other ways to deal with enemies.

Checks for the arena side quest have been added. This is a dual story area for both Sahla and Chicken and is completely optional. It will not affect your ability to beat the game if you choose not to do it but it could affect the ending that you see.

The tutorial battle for Sahla has been reworked and is now much shorter and to the point. It is just her and a single enemy to teach you her mechanics and how they work.

This game is a bit nutty so in keeping to it, even with Sahla in your party only the player(you) and Sahla can understand chicken. The other characters are still just guessing as to what he is really thinking and this could lead to some really fun dialogue options in the future.

I have also added the first instance of the characters speaking directly to the player. As you play there will be certain times when the player will be asked for their opinion on a situation. This could end up with alternate story paths, alternate battles and puzzles, missing out on certain items or access to certain scenes, but even better could potentially change the storyline all together.

I am including images of some of these instances in the game because at this point I don't wish to spoil anything for anyone. I am still working on a menu option to display the progress of Sahlas skills. If anyone has any ideas about this with-out the use of plug-ins I am open to them as it is proving a bit difficult at this point. So far the game is still only use the default plug-ins and a camera one for cut scenes as I am still trying to capture that default rpg maker mv feel but turn it into something different.

Anyways enough rambling and I hope you enjoy this update
